1. About WeStores
WeStores is a convenience-service platform that connects customers with independent service providers (“Shoppers” and “Messengers”) who perform specific tasks on behalf of customers.
WeStores does not:
Sell groceries or goods
Handle payments between customers and service providers
Employ shoppers or messengers
All shoppers and messengers operate as independent contractors.
2. Definitions
Customer: A person requesting a shopping or errand service
Shopper: An independent service provider who collects items and queues in-store
Messenger: An independent service provider who runs errands outside the store
Platform: WeStores website, app, WhatsApp services, or any related system
3. Scope of Services
3.1 Shoppers
Shoppers may:
Collect items inside stores
Stand in queues on behalf of customers
Notify customers when it is time to pay
Shoppers do not:
Make payments on behalf of customers
Deliver groceries or goods
3.2 Messengers
Messengers may:
Run errands
Collect or drop off documents or small parcels
Perform agreed local tasks
4. Payments
Customers pay service providers directly
WeStores does not collect, hold, or process customer payments
Pricing is agreed between the customer and the shopper/messenger
5. Shopper & Messenger Commission
Shoppers and Messengers agree to pay WeStores a 15% commission on their earnings from completed tasks facilitated through the platform. This commission is calculated based on the agreed service fee charged to the customer.
WeStores does not collect customer payments directly. Service providers are responsible for settling the applicable commission with WeStores in accordance with the platform’s guidelines.
Commission fees are non-refundable.
6. User Responsibilities
All users agree to:
Provide accurate information during registration
Communicate respectfullyFollow store rules and applicable laws
Not misuse the platform
Any abuse, fraud, or misconduct may result in suspension or removal.
7. Liability Disclaimer
WeStores acts solely as a connecting platform and is not liable for:
Disputes between customers and service providers
Loss, damage, or dissatisfaction related to services performed
Actions or omissions of shoppers or messengers
All services are performed at the user’s own discretion and risk.
8. Safety & Conduct
Shoppers and messengers must:
Act professionally and honestlyFollow customer instructions
Respect store policies
Avoid handling customer money (shoppers)
Failure to comply may lead to removal from the platform.
9. Termination
WeStores reserves the right to:
Suspend or terminate any account without notice
Remove users who violate these terms
Update platform rules as needed
10. Changes to Terms
WeStores may update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
